JetBlue Airways allows passengers to bring the following items:
Carry-On Baggage
Each passenger is allowed one carry-on bag. The maximum dimensions for a
carry-on bag are typically 22 inches x 14 inches x 9 inches (56 cm x 35 cm x 23
cm).
There are no weight restrictions for carry-on bags, but you must be able to
place it in the overhead bin unassisted.
Checked Baggage
JetBlue's checked baggage policy may vary based on the fare type, destination,
and whether you are a TrueBlue member or have certain credit card benefits. In
general, for most flights within the United States (including Puerto Rico and
the U.S. Virgin Islands), the standard checked baggage allowance is:
- For Blue fares: No free checked bags. Additional fees apply
- For Blue Plus fares: One free checked bag per passenger
- For Blue Extra fares, Mint fares, and Mosaic members: Two free checked bags
per passenger
- The maximum dimensions for checked bags are typically 62 linear inches (157
cm) (length + width + height)
- The weight limit for checked bags is usually 50 pounds (23 kilograms) per bag
It's important to remember that these policies can change, and there may be
exceptions or additional fees depending on factors such as destination, fare
type, and any special promotions.
Please note that excess baggage fees may apply if you exceed the baggage
allowance.
It's always best to check your specific allowance for your itinerary
by contacting their customer service team.
