Customs Services
Customs Procedures
Passengers entering and departing from any international airport must comply
with customs laws and regulations. The Customs Department provides customs
services for arriving and departing passengers according to international
standards and principles of the World Customs Organization.
Arriving Passengers
The Customs Department has a two channel system for arriving passengers.
Passengers who do not have dutiable goods or prohibited/controlled items can use
the Nothing to Declare Channel or Green Channel, while those carrying dutiable
goods, prohibited/controlled items or unsure about their belongings should use
the Goods to Declare Channel or Red Channel.
Duty Free Purchases
Passengers should be aware that duty-free restrictions apply to the country they
are entering, not departing from. It is important to check the customs
allowances for the countries you are visiting prior to travel, as customs
regulations can change without notice. Only international flight passengers are
permitted to purchase duty-free items from the Duty Free shop.
NOTE: This is a general guideline, and different airports may have different
customs procedures.
