Korean Air's baggage allowance policy varies depending on the type of ticket
purchased, the travel route, and the passenger's frequent flyer status.
For most international routes, passengers in Economy Class are allowed one piece
of checked baggage with a maximum weight of 23 kg (50 lbs) and dimensions not
exceeding 158 cm (62 in) in total linear dimensions. Passengers in Business
Class and First Class are allowed two pieces of checked baggage, each with a
maximum weight of 32 kg (70 lbs) and dimensions not exceeding 158 cm (62 in) in
total linear dimensions.
For carry-on baggage, passengers are allowed one piece with a maximum weight of
12 kg (26 lbs) and dimensions not exceeding 55 cm x 40 cm x 20 cm (22 in x 16 in
x 8 in).
It's important to note that specific baggage allowances may differ depending on
the passenger's itinerary and fare class, so it's always best to check directly
with Korean Air or your travel agent for the most up-to-date information.
Additionally, excess baggage fees will apply for any additional bags or
overweight/oversized baggage.
Please note that excess baggage fees may apply if you exceed the baggage
allowance. It's always best to check your specific allowance for your itinerary
by contacting their customer service team.
